Not too long ago, Accents International had the opportunity to work with a Principal Scientist at PerkinElmer. He came to us for accent reduction coaching. He was recognized as an extraordinary microbiologist, one of the best in the field. He’d recently invented a product for in-vitro diagnosis of a specific type of fetal abnormality. The scientist, along with PerkinElmer, was trying to get FDA approval for their life-saving invention. The scientist’s first language is Chinese and though he’s a brilliant innovator, he wasn’t able to pronounce the majority of words he’d need to use when it came time to present to the FDA.
